Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - "Nuff Respect"

while bone thugs-n-harmony are reuniting...again...with ALL members (3 original members + bizzy) and some (flesh-n-bone, released after serving his sentence on weapons charges)...they still LACK one things: dj u-neek. If you recall, dj u-neek produced a grip of creepin' on a come up, e. 1999 and the art of war. he was responsible for the classic bone thugs-n-harmony sounds we heard. however, this track makes stride closer to that as the flow delivery seems HELLA reminiscent especially with krayzie dumpin' on you quick like an AK47 and then drops that subtle harmony flow from behind. good track, should be able to hold me down for a while and i will be throwing this on rotation for the next few days. they dropped/leaked "game ain't ready" just a few days ago which was a fairly solid track.

Yuksek - Away From the Sea (Review)

Upon starting this album, I'm on track 11 featuring Chromeo and I haven't skipped a song yet. Not because they are really short songs but rather they are all quite enjoyable. If you have been the electro scene for a while you may have come to discover the name Yuksek. I first discovered Yuksek when he did a remix for U-God of the Wu-Tang Clan on a song called Ugodzilla. Yuksek killed the track and this of course sparked my interest. Under the radar, dude released an album barely over a week ago (Feb. 2). Intrigued I scoured the blogs for a download of the entire album of which to my avail, there were plenty. However, upon reviewing this album this of course motivates me to purchase the album. Each song has that definite Yuksek funky breaks that makes you want to do the hustle. There hasn't been a full length electro album since Justice's cross that has been this refreshing. Granted, Justice did release A Cross the Universe which I bought. Away From the Sea is semi-repetitive yet packed with energy and undoubtedly enjoyable to listen to. To illustrate how I feel about this album I will provide the following letter grade:

B+

Here's the track that sparked my interest:
U-God - Ugodzilla (Yuksek Remix)

Here's one track off the album I enjoyed.
Yuksek - This Is Not Disco [PREVIEW]

If you like it, purchase it. Yuksek is not 50 cent and doesn't ink deals with sponsors like Vitamin Water for a milli. Ergo, buy the album, keep it forever and help keep Yuksek's lights on. Click here for tracklisting.

Disappointment for the Daft Punk fans

For a short lived moment, the small ray of hope for a Daft Punk tour fizzled out as AMD updated his blog citing PitchForkMedia's investigation of Daft Punk's supposed "hidden" tour. They contacted DP's PR and to all of our disappointment, the website holding the claim was an absolute sham. Hopefully they will go back on tour soon (still kicking myself for not going to the Seattle Alive show).

However, I did some investigation through godaddy.com and looked up the registry info on the bullshitter. I am definitely a peaceful person and do not encourage any type of illegal acts but here's this shithead's info that's already available through godaddy.com:

[REMOVED AT REQUEST]

EDIT: apparently these dudes are most on the case

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...

These songs all have one thing in common... a hook that recites the days of the week. There's something about catchy about a hook being longwinded. Instead of saying 24/7 or all the time, one must emphasize how much they perform the described activity: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturdaaaaay.

50 Cent - I Get It In
Max B - Where Do I Go
Sway - Saturday Night Hustle
